Duo for saxohones and tape was written for the Palm Saxophone Duo (Alastair Penman and Matthew Lombard) and premiered at the World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb in July 2018. The piece requires doubling on soprano and alto saxophones for both players. It starts with a reflective opening duo on soprano saxophones before layering up a rhythmic groove that permeates throughout the piece.

Duo for saxophones and tape
A click track and backing track are provided. After the opening section, the click track and backing track need to be started together so that the players can stay in time with the backing track.
