Stylistic Studies for Saxophone, Vol. 1 (Grades 1-4)
 
Stylistic Studies for Saxophone Volume 1 presents twenty studies in some of the most common styles that saxophonists are required to play, including classical, jazz and rock.The pieces in the book are progressive, taking the player from approximately grade 1 – 4 standard. (Volume 2 follows on with studies of grade 5 – 8 standard, and Volume 3 with studies of grade 8+ standard.)
 
Each of the pieces has a performance note with guidance on what to focus on when learning the study, and suggestions of things you might wish to explore in more detail or ask your teacher for help with.
